Position Overview:

Currently, we are seeking an Inside Technical Support Technician to work from our Leamington, Ontario head office. The Inside Technical Support Technician will provide technical and network problem resolutions to Security ONE customers, while ensuring customers receive maximum benefits from our service.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Troubleshoot and assist clients and colleagues with technical issues
  • Provide recommendations to clients to enhance their security through product upgrades and service additions
  • Adjust programming and settings of systems remotely
  • Aid field technicians in programming and supporting alarm, video surveillance and access control systems
  • Provide recommendations to Leadership on enhanced efficiencies and product selection
  • Work continuously on a task until completion
  • Prioritize and manage many open cases at one time
  • Dispatch and schedule tickets as required
  • Support sales consultants with product compatibility questions and quote design
  • Rapidly establish a good working relationship with customers and other professionals
  • Test and evaluate new technology
  • Follow up and make scheduled call backs to customers where necessary
  • Other tasks as assigned by management

Does This Sound Like You?

  • At least 2 years of experience in a technical support or similar role
  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills, preferably with systems related to security or networking
  • Above average written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to delivering high-quality service
  • Comfortable learning new technologies and adapting to evolving tools and systems
  • Proven ability to work independently, stay organized, and follow tasks through to completion
