POSITION TYPE: Full-Time, Term Position Available (anticipated January 12, 2026 up to July 10, 2026)

SALARY: $39,873 - $56,201 per annum

POSITION LOCATION: Notre Dame Campus (Winnipeg, MB)

ELIGIBILITY LIST: This competition may be used to establish a 6 month eligibility list of qualified candidates for future vacancies.

DUTIES

Reporting to the Assistant Supervisor, Building Services, the Building Services Worker, Nights performs a variety of janitorial tasks. The incumbent is responsible for completing daily scheduled cleaning in a defined area and may be required to operate motorized cleaning equipment, respond to emergency clean-ups and/or advise the Assistant Supervisor of any minor building maintenance required. Other duties include assisting with set-up and take down for College special events/exams, deep cleaning indoor and outdoor spaces, washing windows and walls, and other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma
• Experience as a cleaner in a commercial, educational or hotel setting
• Demonstrated ability to self-initiate and work independently
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Team player with the willingness to learn and be trained a task
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong work ethic commitment and dedication to the role
• Workplace Health and Safety Training/WHMIS; or willingness to obtain
• Experience building a respectful workplace culture that promotes diversity, learning and continuous improvement

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in use of ride on auto-scrubbers and ride on sweepers
• Experience waxing and stripping floors, shampooing carpets

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

• Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada
• This position may be required to work evenings and/or weekends
• This position may be required to work overtime
• This position is subject to audiometric assessments
• Incumbent must provide a current and satisfactory Criminal Records Check
• Incumbent must be physically able to lift items weighing up to 30lbs
