Guest Service Agent/Night Auditor

Must present a personable, helpful, and professional image. Responsible for checking guests in and out of the Hotel, assisting with item requests from guest, providing guests with general information as well as answering the phone. Guest Services shifts vary from from 8am-4pm , 4pm-12am and 12am-8am.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for checking guests in and out of the Hotel.
  • Issues room keys, discount cards, etc.
  • Computes bills, collects payment and makes changes for guests.
  • Answers various questions from guests.
  • Assist other departments with guest concerns or issues.
  • Answers any phone calls
  • Creates and modifies reservations

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

  • Must have excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Lightspeed would be considered as asset. Training will be provided.
  • Basic reading and math skills.
  • Ability to understand and carry out instructions.
  • Must be able to maintain a professional manner under stress.
  • Must be able to work alone without supervision.
  • Must be able to answer questions concerning the Hotel and the local area.

Preference will be given to candidates that live within the surrounding area of the hotel as well as those who have night shift experience.

Must be available to work Monday and Tuesdays from 12am-8am.

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
