Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Senior Electrical Engineer located in Vancouver, BC. The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing electrical engineering projects. Tasks include creating detailed electrical designs, conducting analyses for electricity and related systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Electrical Design and expertise in Electrical Engineering concepts
  • Strong knowledge of Power Distribution and Power Systems
  • Thorough understanding of electricity and its applications in various projects
  • Ability to lead and manage engineering projects from start to finish
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Professional Engineering (P.Eng) designation or eligibility to obtain one
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering design and project management
  • Effective communication and team collaboration skills
  • Experience in the commercial, industrial, or institutional sectors is an asset
