Job Description

We are looking for a Short term fill in before Christmas - dependable Class 1 or Class 3 driver to operate a Hydrovac for our shallow utility projects in Red Deer. The candidate must have experience driving a tandem or tri-axle manual truck, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work in a team environment. Hydrovac experience is a necessity. We are looking for someone to come in with experience and give a solid 4 -5 weeks of work before Christmas. Many hours available for a reliable operator, including overtime pay. Our office is located in Three Hills, AB, with project work focusing in Red Deer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate an 18-speed manual tri-drive Hydrovac for excavation and material handling
  • Perform basic maintenance on the truck and hydrovac equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to complete projects on time and to high standards
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
  • Commute to project sites in Three Hills, Red Deer, and Calgary, AB from our Three Hills office as required

Requirements

  • Valid Class 1 or Class 3 driver's license with a fairly clean driving record
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience driving a tandem or tri-axle manual truck
  • Competence in operating a Hydrovac
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
  • Reside within commuting distance to Red Deer
  • Availability for Monday to Saturday work
  • Previous hydrovac experience is a necessity

Job Type: Full-time
