About the Role:

As a CBRE CAD Designer, you will design and prepare electronic working plans, maps, and drawings for small to medium-scale projects.

This job is part of the Design function. They are responsible for preparing and producing proposals and planning applications for internal and external partners.

What You'll Do:

  • Prepare prints of various original plans and records for internal and external agency use. Review updated various drawings for changes, utilizing computer-aided drafting techniques.
  • Gather data to complete drawings by visiting the site directly. Conduct surveys of space and prepare detailed reports.
  • Assist with the development of maps and drawings that are spatially accurate and technically correct.
  • Point of contact for internal and external partners to obtain details of projects, including equipment, materials, and codes.
  • Collect on-site information and input into database to maintain current building conditions and data.
  • Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
  • Impact the quality of own work.
  • Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
  • Exchange straightforward information, asks questions, and check for understanding.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with up to 3 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
  • Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
  • Experience with AutoCad required. IWMS (Manhattan) strongly preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The salary range being offered for this CAD Designer position is between $78,000 annually and $85,000 annually. The compensation that is provided to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
