Responsibilities:
· Welcome patients in friendly manner
· Schedule appointments, taking payments, and maintaining records and accounts.
· Keep office on schedule and maintain operations by following policies and procedures
· Accurately input data and file charts
· Obtain revenue by recording and updating financial information, recording and collecting patient charges, and entering payments.
· Daily cleaning and laundry duties
· Has a keen interest in contributing to the team and our community.
Medical Receptionist Skills / Qualifications:
· Multi-tasking, especially in a high-stress environment
· Flexible
· Initiative and independent worker
· Fast learner and self learner
· Excellent telephone and communication skills in English
· Cash management
· Time management & organization
· Attention to detail and quality service
· Scheduling & Billing
· Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office, email, EMR a plus
· Professionalism & Cleanliness
Receptionist experience is an asset and will be compensated accordingly
Microsoft Word & Patient Booking Software is an asset.
Our part-time medical receptionist will be working 20-25 hours per week with an opportunity to increase as the business grows. Employees receive paid vacation and a possiblity of extended health benefits.
