We are currently seeking Class 1 FTL Truck Driver to join our team at our Nisku Location.

Position: Class 1 FTL Truck Driver

Type: Full-time

Location: Nisku

Pay: Commensurate with experience

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Must perform daily inspection of the units they are driving in accordance with the NSC.
  • Must keep accurate logs of their trips and activities.
  • Ensure compliance with Hours-of-Service regulations.
  • Ensure proper Journey Management
  • Uphold proper load times. Maintain to ensure "Best in Class Customer Service."
  • Ensure cleanness of units
  • Advise maintenance staff of required repairs need to vehicle.
  • Maintains contact with terminal to receive instructions or to be dispatched to new location.
  • Keeps record of material and product being transported.
  • Assists if necessary, loading or unloading trucks.
  • Secure load in accordance with legislative policies and procedures

Qualifications

  • Class 1 Driver's License required with clean abstract
  • Must be familiar with manual transmission
  • Must have minimum of two years Class 1 driving experience
  • Experience hauling flat deck freight and over dimensional Loads
