Corporate Product Manager – Vac Trucks

Brandt is currently seeking a Corporate Product Manager – Vac Trucks for Western Canada.
This position is responsible for developing and implementing strategy to position Brandt as the leading dealer in the Vac market measured by the increased market share of current & new customer business with guidance from the Director of Sales – Vac Trucks Canada and the VP of Sales – Transportation.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Work with the sales team to build knowledge and understanding of the Vac market
- Assist Territory Managers on sales calls by evaluating the customer's current & future job scope, and matching those needs to the proper equipment
- Create a high level of confidence amongst all customers, by demonstrating expertise, sense of urgency, and reliability
- Provide competitive analysis for all Vac product lines, focusing on features, benefits, and applications, to create powerful sales tools that can be used by the sales teams to increase revenue and market share
- Provide product demonstration support for sales teams with proper unit setup to ensure a safe and optimal Vac performance, with the end goal of converting the demonstration into a sale
- Provide and monitor training for all new and existing territory managers as required
- Assist with and/or deliver customer training, including product start-ups and new-crew training
- Be the liaison between the company and manufacturer, as it pertains to product applications, new product launches, sales product training programs, etc.
- Work closely with the other transportation divisions and region management team members by providing feedback on competitive product intelligence and sales team effectiveness

Required Skills
- Enthusiastic, energetic, and goal driven
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills
- Comfortable with leading group presentations and product training (both in a classroom format and on a jobsite)
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office
- Must be able to travel throughout the assigned area of responsibility (50% travel expected)
- A valid driver's license and drivers abstract will be required
- A valid passport will be required to travel internationally
- Bilingual English & French is considered an asset
Required Experience
- Must have a minimum of 3-5 years' prior experience in a related field
- Must be mechanically inclined – experience is recommended
- Must be familiar with the construction jobsite environment, having spent some time working in or servicing them, including the construction cycle and project scope type
