What You'll Do: Utilize SAP software to create loads and complete order entry.Ensure timely and accurate dispatching and scheduling of deliveries.Monitor completion of dispatch activities, loads ready, and paperwork/trip sheets, taking appropriate action as needed.Complete IFTA fuel and mileage reporting monthly.Maintain a fleet of road-ready equipment.Determine the best method of completing shipments based on available driver hours.Audit trip sheets and driver logs to ensure proper Mode of Transportation (MOT) compliance.Maintain truck files for National Safety Code (NSC) and Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) requirements.Actively participate in daily safety meetings.Ensure all transportation operations follow Transport Canada safety standards and are prepared for external audits.Maintain all Environment, Health & Safety related files for drivers, trucks, and NSC compliance.Perform random audits to ensure safety and compliance with all company policies and procedures.Maintain accurate files including driver files, equipment files, and proof of delivery (PODs).Work with the IT department to ensure SAP systems properly support day-to-day logistics operations.Actively follow safety procedures for all equipment, wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.Complete other duties as required to meet business objectives. What You'll Bring:Bachelor's in Transportation Management, Business, Supply Chain Management or related degree is required. Equivalent experience in lieu of degree may be considered.Minimum of 2 years of prior logistics and supply management is preferred.Proficiency in Microsoft products including Word, Outlook, Teams.Competency in keyboarding to complete data entry tasks accurately and in a timely manner.An engaged safety-first mindset, committing to safe work practices through Key Daily Actions.Service orientated approach when corresponding via telephone, email, and in-person.Skilled in writing effectively to communicate concisely and clearly.Previous work experience using SAP software is a bonus but not required.Ready to make an impact with us?
