We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Director to lead our team of Project Managers and drive the successful execution of our projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new and existing clients, nurturing, and strengthening relationships to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Lead and oversee the project team throughout all phases of project execution, ensuring adherence to project objectives, goals, procedures, and performance standards.
  • Establish clear project objectives, scope, budget, and schedule, consulting with clients as needed to finalize project specifications.
  • Facilitate effective communication between the client and the company, addressing concerns, resolving issues, and ensuring project progress aligns with client expectations.
  • Review and approve technical documents, design plans, specifications, proposals, and cost estimates to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
  • Ensure project deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and meet the required level of quality.
  • Monitor project expenses, analyze out-of-budget expenses, and take corrective action as necessary to maintain project profitability.
  • Provide regular updates on project status, progress, issues, and concerns to the senior leadership team.
  • Evaluate team adherence to project management processes and provide guidance and support as needed to ensure consistent application.
  • Present the business value of our services to prospective clients and partners through presentations, meetings, and proposals.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships to support business growth and identify new opportunities.
  • Participate in industry and professional groups, networking associations, and events to stay informed of industry trends and cultivate partnerships.
  • Collaborate with the senior leadership team to identify and pursue future partnerships and projects.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop team members, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to support their professional growth.
  • Foster a workplace culture that reflects the company's mission, vision, and core values in all internal and external interactions.
  • Perform other duties as required or directed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, other Engineering, or Construction Management; equivalent work experience will be considered.
  • 15-20 years of relevant design and/or construction project/program management experience.
  • Heavy Civil, Water Infrastructure, Buildings experience is a plus.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
  • P.ENG designation is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective solutions addressing process efficiency, project costs, budget parameters, and customer demands.
  • Strong ability to prioritize tasks, work under pressure, and communicate effectively in a team environment to meet deadlines.
  • High level of ethical behavior and discretion in decision-making.
  • Proficiency in researching and presenting information/data to facilitate informed management or client risk assessment and decision-making.
  • Willingness and capability to engage in business development activities and contribute to departmental growth.
  • Advanced organizational and management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities to effectively communicate with clients, team members, and stakeholders.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $185,000.00-$220,000.00 per year
