Cornerstone Physiotherapy is thrilled to be seeking a talented and passionate Occupational Therapist for our Infection Associated Chronic Condition (IACC) / Long COVID Rehabilitation virtual team. We have created one of the first programs of its kind to address the ongoing concerns of this IACC population through virtual rehabilitative care.

Cornerstone is connected to a global network of Long COVID researchers and advised by Canada's top Physician Scientists. All training and ongoing clinical support will be provided by Cornerstone clinicians. The demand for this population is growing and we are looking for a team member who can bring energy, empathy, and a willingness to go the extra mile to this role.

The program is delivered completely remotely through Telehealth software and will allow you the flexibility to work from home.

Our Long COVID rehabilitation team is truly interdisciplinary and includes Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Psychotherapy, Dietetics and strong administrative support staff. We promote continuing education through clinical mentorship and collaboration with the team. Find out more about our program at

Role in OT Care of IACCs

  • Educate on the use of adaptive equipment, environmental and activity modifications for symptom management.
  • Teach activity pacing and energy conservation strategies.
  • Suggest sensory modifications to reduce symptom triggers.
  • Educate and support caregivers and family members.
  • Assist with disability documentation and accommodations related to functional performance and occupational impairments

This role is a subcontractor position and flexible with respect to hours worked. You must reside in Ontario.
