Position Summary...
This role is responsible for managing pay related processes, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing exceptional support to employees. This role involves supporting continuous improvement initiatives and payroll-related projects to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.
What you'll do...
- Assist Payroll Manager in the design, development, and implementation of Payroll related Compliance programs, and policies.
- Accountable for participating in process improvement initiatives to drive efficiencies and improved ways of working.
- Accountable for project management of the implementation of small initiatives/tech implementations.
- Manage the payroll inbox and coordinate the resolution of Payroll Escalations by sending to the right group/creating Incident tickets for the Canada business.
- Review and process special payments accurately and efficiently for the business, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Manage printing, sorting and mailing of Weekly/Bi-weekly payroll and garnishment cheques.
- Review letters received from Government agencies, assign to designated global payroll services teams to handle and correspond back to appropriate Government agencies.
- Update and maintain payroll-related compliance filing, ensuring appropriate paperwork for all activities relating to employment have been documented and filed in the file retention room or offsite secure storage.
- Assist in preparing for payroll audits, generate metrics and perform review of transactions processed by self or others on the team for data integrity and legislative compliance.
- Create simple ad-hoc reports according to support business stakeholders.
- Support Payroll Manager in developing and maintaining documentation for payroll procedures and guidelines.
- Creates and maintains payroll communication (incl. Job Aids, FAQs, and all training materials available for end users).
