Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Accountant to manage accounting and financial reporting for a portfolio of commercial office buildings. This role suits a skilled accountant with 4–6 years of experience who wants to advance their career in commercial real estate and building operations.
Key Responsibilities
· Maintain accurate general ledger records for assigned office properties, including journal entries, accruals, and monthly reconciliations.
· Process accounts payable and receivable, including vendor invoices, tenant billings, and rent receipts.
· Prepare monthly property financial statements, rent rolls, and variance analyses for management review.
· Assist with annual operating and capital budgets for each building, monitoring performance against budget throughout the year.
· Support CAM (Common Area Maintenance) and operating cost reconciliations for tenants, ensuring expenses are coded correctly and allocations are accurate.
· Maintain and reconcile tenant ledgers, security deposits, and other lease-related accounts.
· Assist with year-end audit requests, tax support, and preparation of working papers as required.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
· 4–6 years of accounting experience, ideally in property management, or a related industry.
· Strong understanding of property/real estate concepts such as leases, rent rolls, operating costs, and CAM recoveries.
· Proficiency with accounting software and strong Excel skills; experience with property management systems is an asset.
· High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple properties and deadlines.

Nous recherchons un ou une comptable expérimenté(e) pour gérer la comptabilité et le reporting financier d'un portefeuille d'immeubles de bureaux commerciaux. Ce poste s'adresse à une personne comptable compétente, ayant 4 à 6 ans d'expérience, qui souhaite progresser dans sa carrière en comptabilité immobilière et en exploitation d'immeubles.
Responsabilités principales
· Tenir à jour les registres comptables des immeubles assignés : écritures de journal, provisions et conciliations mensuelles.
· Traiter les comptes fournisseurs et clients : factures des fournisseurs, facturation aux locataires et encaissement des loyers.
· Préparer les états financiers mensuels des immeubles, les relevés de loyers (rent rolls) et les analyses d'écarts pour la direction.
· Contribuer à l'élaboration des budgets d'exploitation et d'immobilisations de chaque immeuble et suivre la performance par rapport au budget.
· Participer aux rapprochements annuels des charges communes (CAM) et autres charges récupérables, en s'assurant de l'exacte imputation et répartition des dépenses entre les locataires.
· Tenir et rapprocher les comptes des locataires, incluant dépôts de garantie et autres éléments liés aux baux.
· Appuyer la préparation des dossiers de fin d'exercice, des audits et des exigences fiscales, au besoin.
Profil recherché
· Baccalauréat en comptabilité, finance ou domaine connexe.
· 4 à 6 ans d'expérience en comptabilité, idéalement dans la gestion immobilière, l'immobilier commercial ou un secteur apparenté.
· Solide compréhension des principes comptables de l'immobilier (baux, loyers, charges d'exploitation, CAM, etc.).
· Maîtrise des outils informatiques comptables et Excel; l'expérience avec un logiciel de gestion immobilière est un atout.
· Grande rigueur, sens de l'organisation et capacité à gérer plusieurs immeubles et échéances simultanément.
· Excellentes aptitudes pour la communication et le travail en équipe, avec divers intervenants internes et externes.
