We're seeking a Food Production Assistant to help us with our ongoing projects. The right candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working collaboratively. The Food Production Assistant will have the opportunity to work closely with our Operations Manager and assist in the business's everyday operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Key Responsibilities

Production Coordination

  • Help receive, review, and organize all incoming customer orders.
  • Communicate order details production team leaders to ensure accurate and timely execution.
  • Assist the Production Manager with scheduling and monitoring daily production plans.
  • Help ensure production targets, quality standards, and deadlines are met.

Logistics & Documentation

  • Prepare and issue Bills of Lading (BOL) for outgoing shipments.
  • Coordinate shipment arrangements with the transport team and external carriers.
  • Manage FedEx shipments including label creation, packaging details, and tracking.
  • Ensure proper documentation is completed and filed for all shipments and deliveries.

Inventory Management

  • Conduct regular inventory checks of raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished goods.
  • Record and update inventory levels in the system
  • Communicate shortages to the Production Manager for replenishment.

Administrative & Team Support

  • Serve as a liaison between production, warehouse, and management teams.
  • Provide administrative support including data entry, reports, scheduling updates, and record keeping.
  • Assist in troubleshooting daily operational issues and ensure smooth workflow.
  • Tagalog is an asset.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
