Responsibilities
- Manage a team in producing architectural design solutions and construction drawings
- Manage a group of architectural staff, leading project meetings, and coordinating other building disciplines on multi-disciplinary projects.
- Manage a team of consultants
- Client communication
- Provide technical and administrative oversight to ensure that both the internal and external client needs are met and that the projects are delivered within cost, quality and schedule targets
- Manage the planning, scheduling, forecasting and staffing and working with accounting to achieve the desired results.
- Review monthly project performance data including utilization, multipliers, revenue analysis (profit/loss), hard and soft backlog, client/ consulting invoicing, work in progress and accounts receivable, overhead optimization, and overall quality of work.
- Supporting the team on pursuing work through assisting with RFP preparation including schedule and fee
Qualifications
- Licensed Architect or professional designation/education in a design/construction focused field.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification would be considered an asset.
- Minimum of 10 years experience working in a similar role
- Preference given to candidates with knowledge of BIM principles & workflows, REVIT software, AutoCAD software, Visualization software, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft 365 environment and Bluebeam.
- Experience with Security & Defence and mixed-use projects would be considered an asset.
MB & ON: $100,900 – $139,000
