GS Construction is seeking a full-time construction foreman

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

Summary:

  • Responsible for organizing job site, materials and tools at beginning and end of each day
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
  • Position with great career plan possibilities

Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, work at heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl into crawl spaces or crawl through holes in walls), stand for long periods of time, bend, stoop, kneel, push, pull heavy equipment such as machinery and tools;
  • Valid G-Class Driver's Licence with a CLEAN driving record (proof will be requested upon hire);
  • Experience operating and towing trailers;
  • Familiarity with construction materials;
  • Strong handyman/hand tool skills;
  • Organized, reliable, and able to work independently;
  • Strong punctuality and work ethics;
  • Must be available to work within Essex County region;
  • Ability to read blueprints is preferred;
  • Ability to work with tradesmen on projects; communicate effectively with others;
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
