at
Martensville, SK.*
facility.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate all milling equipment, including grain cleaning, dehulling, kilning, flaking and oat flour manufacturing systems.
  • Steam heat treatment of raw and finished products.
  • Perform troubleshooting and minor repairs on milling equipment.
  • Test finished products and work in progress to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Perform cleaning duties as assigned to meet standards in all areas of the mill and grounds.
  • Accurately complete documentation for all processes.
  • Operates in accordance with all food safety, safety, and fire prevention regulations and practices.
  • Maintain cleanliness of production areas including sweeping floors and blowing down equipment.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • Must be able to work 12 hour rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • Computer knowledge an asset.
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50lbs.
  • Solid oral and written communication skills.
  • Solid problem solving and trouble shooting skills.
  • Able to work in a processing environment and adverse conditions (heights, steam processing and hot environments).
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
