Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Toronto, ON, for a Divisional Financial Controller. The Divisional Financial Controller will oversee financial operations, including the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Responsibilities include managing budgets, conducting thorough financial analyses, providing accurate financial reporting, and implementing effective financial controls. The role also involves liaising with key stakeholders to support decision-making and monitor financial performance to achieve business objectives.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in creating and analyzing Financial Statements and generating precise Financial Reports
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Accounting and Finance principles
  • Exceptional Analytical Skills to interpret data and provide actionable insights
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation or equivalent preferred
  • Experience in a senior financial leadership role is an asset
  • Strong proficiency with financial tools and accounting software
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
