Executive Assistant & Team Administrator – Quantitative Equity Investment Team

We are looking for an Executive Assistant & Team Administrator to join our fast-paced and entrepreneurial Quantitative Equity team This is a unique, full-time opportunity for an individual to make an important contribution to a market-leading firm through the provision of excellent internal support.

Connor, Clark & Lunn Investment Management is a global institutional asset management firm, and the Quantitative Equity ("Q") Team is our largest group.

What You Will Do

The Executive Assistant & Team Administrator will combine proactive executive level support for the team's two leaders, administration support to the broader Quantitative Equity team, and implementation of initiatives to support the team's growth strategy.

You will work with executives within the firm and interact with clients and prospects. Managing the needs of multiple stakeholders will be an important part of this role.

  • Executive support for the two leaders of the Quantitative Equity team including calendar management, travel coordination, expense reporting, and other related tasks
  • Additional calendar support to team managers and management of key department meetings
  • Planning and delivery for significant events such as strategic offsites, and annual department and sub-team events
  • Coordination of recruitment activities and onboarding of new team members
  • Coordination of initiatives that support team and firm culture
  • Provide administrative support to the leadership team on external engagements, such as client meetings, sales pitches and activities with external boards
  • Manage and coordinate staff and partner requests with office managers and IT

What You Bring

  • Industry Experience: 5+ years in an Executive Assistant or similar role, working directly with senior leaders in an organization. Investment industry or similar environment preferred.
  • Organizational Skills: You have excellent planning skills and anticipate the risks, details, and questions for your stakeholders. You seamlessly manage multiple projects and deadlines, re-shifting priorities as needed. You value efficiency for yourself and your stakeholders.
  • Reliable: You are dependable, exercise sound judgment, and always maintain confidentiality.
  • Self-Starter: You are motivated and willing to take personal accountability for quality and timeliness of work.
  • Adaptability: You bring an energetic, solutions-focused mindset to a dynamic role, with the ability to adapt quickly and tackle challenges head-on.
  • Collaborative Approach: You value shared success. Your communication skills are respectful, clear, and timely in all forms. You have strong intrapersonal skills and form healthy working relationships with staff and managers at the firm.
  • Technology: You are proficient in technology and applications such as Microsoft Office programs, Microsoft teams and other video conferencing platforms. You understand how to use technology to make workflows more efficient where possible.

The base salary range is $80,000 – $120,000 annually plus a competitive performance bonus. Compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
