Le travail principal et habituel d'un salarié de cette classe d'emploi consiste à conduire un véhicule routier d'un poids net de plus de trois mille kilos ou un minibus dans le but de transporter des personnes ainsi que des marchandises et du matériel et d'effectuer toute autre tâche, telle que le chargement et le déchargement de marchandises, tout en respectant les normes de sécurité applicables.

Description des tâches

  • Conduire un bus scolaire ou un minibus
  • Maintenir le véhicule propre et en bon état de marche
  • Veiller à ce que le véhicule soit lavé, nettoyé et approvisionné en carburant.
  • Effectuer, selon les instructions, les inspections du véhicule prescrites par la loi, les règlements et les directives.
  • Signaler toute défectuosité détectée
  • Tenir un registre de route et préparer des rapports succincts sur certaines activités liées à ses fonctions, selon les besoins.
  • Conserver dans le véhicule un carnet de bord et les rapports d'inspection du véhicule.
  • Peut être amené à conduire un véhicule plus léger.
  • Le cas échéant, effectue toute autre tâche connexe.

Qualifications requises

  • Être titulaire d'un permis de conduire de la catégorie correspondant à la classe d'emploi.

  • Savoir conduire les véhicules mentionnés ci-dessus

  • Avoir des compétences de base en mécanique des véhicules lourds et dans les différentes méthodes d'entretien préventif requises.
