JOB DESCRIPTION:

Architecture49 is seeking a dedicated and dynamic BIM Manager with a strong collaborative spirit and a passion for advancing the capabilities of their teammates. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement strategies to align with national and regional BIM standards.
  • Oversee production teams and coordinate BIM processes for various projects.
  • Provide coaching and BIM training to teams.
  • Act as a BIM resource person across multiple projects.
  • Develop automated workflows and deployable tools at both local and national levels.
  • Establish and maintain best practices for quality control and integration.
  • Conduct research and development to enhance processes.
  • Draft and coordinate BIM management and execution plans.
  • Ensure quality control of models.
  • Contribute to ongoing training programs through skills transfer.

DESIRED PROFILE:

  • College diploma in Architectural Technology or another relevant field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience as a BIM Manager, with at least 3 years locally.
  • Experience with public / institutional projects (an asset).
  • Solid understanding of project delivery phases.
  • In-depth proficiency in BIM and associated tools (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks/BIM360, Recap).

  • Positive attitude, team spirit, autonomy, initiative.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Bilingualism (English and French) is considered an asset.
  • Ability to obtain Reliability and Secret level security clearance (mandatory).
