JOB DESCRIPTION:
Architecture49 is seeking a dedicated and dynamic BIM Manager with a strong collaborative spirit and a passion for advancing the capabilities of their teammates. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement strategies to align with national and regional BIM standards.
- Oversee production teams and coordinate BIM processes for various projects.
- Provide coaching and BIM training to teams.
- Act as a BIM resource person across multiple projects.
- Develop automated workflows and deployable tools at both local and national levels.
- Establish and maintain best practices for quality control and integration.
- Conduct research and development to enhance processes.
- Draft and coordinate BIM management and execution plans.
- Ensure quality control of models.
- Contribute to ongoing training programs through skills transfer.
DESIRED PROFILE:
- College diploma in Architectural Technology or another relevant field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a BIM Manager, with at least 3 years locally.
- Experience with public / institutional projects (an asset).
- Solid understanding of project delivery phases.
- In-depth proficiency in BIM and associated tools (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks/BIM360, Recap).
- Positive attitude, team spirit, autonomy, initiative.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bilingualism (English and French) is considered an asset.
- Ability to obtain Reliability and Secret level security clearance (mandatory).
