to join our growing team. This role begins as

as our portfolio expands. You will play a key role in managing the financial operations of our condominium communities, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and strong financial controls. Your commitment to quality, service, and teamwork will support SPM's reputation as a trusted leader in condominium management.

What You'll Do (Your Day-to-Day)

  • Manage
    full-cycle accounting
    for a portfolio of
    our condominium corporations
    , including shared facilities.
  • Prepare
    monthly financial statements
    —Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and all supporting schedules—ensuring delivery by the
    20th of each month
    .
  • Oversee and analyze
    accounts receivable
    and
    accounts payable
    .
  • Complete
    monthly bank reconciliations
    and investigate discrepancies.
  • Work closely with property managers to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Prepare and reconcile
    recoveries and adjustments
    .
  • Accurately
    post journal entries
    and maintain the general ledger.
  • Assist in preparing
    year-end audit files
    and supporting documentation.
  • Process
    unit owner changes
    ,
    EFT setups
    , and updates for common element fee payments.
  • Support the accounting team with additional tasks and special projects as needed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service through clear, professional, and timely communication.

What Helps You Succeed (Qualifications)

  • College Diploma or University Degree in
    Accounting
    ,
    Finance
    , or
    Business Administration
    .
  • Previous accounting experience;
    property accounting experience is an asset
    .
  • Strong proficiency in
    Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
    .
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and thrive in a collaborative environment.
