Client Strategy Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Client Strategy Specialist who will be directly responsible and integrated with one of our largest clients. The Client Strategy Specialist will develop an understanding of our retail partner's business and maintain a positive relationship to position Vantage as their strategic long-term retail media network resource. You will work directly with the retail client and their suppliers in using Vantage's platform and additional advertising tools to deliver onsite and offsite campaigns, drive campaign performance, and generate actionable insights.
In partnership with the client's leadership team, you will help their supplier community achieve their desired campaign goals through continuous optimization and reporting. Additionally, you will play a critical role in the development and implementation of retail media programs and will ensure that campaigns are pacing correctly. The ideal candidate is a key stakeholder in delivering and growing the retailer's sales targets and is comfortable having face-to-face client interactions.
This is a hybrid role with 3-4 days a week onsite with the client.
Responsibilities Include:

Partner with Sr. Account Specialists and vendors to gather assets and build campaigns.

Launch, manage, and track vendor campaigns, ensuring budgets are spent to at least 95 percent and all campaigns launch on time.

Analyze campaign data to identify optimization opportunities and resolve any critical issues that arise.

Execute event campaigns and collaborate with Marketing to ensure all creative, copy, and promotional messaging follow approved guidelines. Work closely with Production to adjust and improve creative assets as needed.

Optimize campaigns to drive traffic, awareness, or conversions in line with client and supplier expectations. Use performance data to understand which tactics and audiences are most effective across categories and vendors.

Test new ad types, such as Pinterest or YouTube, to improve campaign results.

Navigate Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, DV360, and Google Analytics confidently to audit campaigns, report on performance, and identify issues early.

Create client and supplier-facing reports that clearly communicate campaign results and insights.

Follow internal processes consistently and ensure that all campaigns are actively monitored and continuously improved.
Required Skills:
-
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, or related field

2 years of experience in digital advertising, specifically with ad platforms (Facebook/Instagram, Pinterest, Google Ads, DV360, Amazon Ads)

A high degree of proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint, able to crunch numbers and turn around a compelling, and well-structured reports on what you've found (Bonus points if the report looks good too)

Strong sense of curiosity, analytical mind with extreme attention to detail

Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects

Results-oriented and able to work under pressure and tight deadlines

Previous experience working with retail brands is a huge bonus

Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment (organized & gritty)

Languages other than English are a bonus. Especially French
