A day in the life:

As a Maintenance Planner you will be working on developing and sustaining the preventative maintenance program for all assets. You will be involved in a key function that ensures the right technical decisions are made to deliver the factory's reliability.

Role Requirements

  • Maintain CMMS on an on-going basis to ensure effectiveness.
  • Effectively plan and schedule annual Preventive Maintenance (PM) Programs existing for all equipment including new equipment installation.
  • Generate and assign scheduled PM's to maintenance team leaders on a weekly basis and review work order feedback.
  • Plan shutdown activities not included in the annual PM schedule.
  • Coordinate with production team leaders/planners for timely execution of maintenance plans.
  • Maintain KPI's for cost expenditure, machinery uptime, breakdowns and documentation of planned activities.
  • Train associates to effectively use SAP-AMM and maintain skills matrix of associates on completion of training.
  • Facilitate Weekly Maintenance Operational Reviews to ensure alignment with business metrics.
  • Order technical materials and spare-parts as required.
  • Supervise maintenance employees and contractors as required.
  • Administer Maintenance personnel's overtime hours and ranking as per CBA, and weekend labor scheduling in conjunction with Production Planner.
  • Ensure compliance with the Nestle Quality Management System (NQMS) and Quality Policy.
  • Work according to ISO 14001 Environment and OHSAS 18001 Safety requirements.
  • Complete other duties as required.

Preferred Skills

  • University or College degree in Engineering, Trades Certification or a related discipline preferred. CMRP certification is preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years e Minimum 3 years' experience in manufacturing, food processing is preferred experience in manufacturing,
  • CMRP designation is desirable High proficiency using CMMS, SAP is preferred
  • High proficiency using MS office, must be extremely knowledgeable of Microsoft Excel advanced functions 
  • Power BI experience is considered an asset
