Position Summary
Our team delivers friendly and efficient food and beverage service, in line with our next level guest experience standards. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Enthusiastically greet guests to ensure their very first point of contact leaves only the best kind of impression.
- Ensuring guests leave the restaurant happily, resolving any potential issues by flagging an MOD to assist.
- Familiarizing yourself with all guests, building a roster of return clientele, and accommodating all individual preferences (and taking note of).
- Point person for all phone calls. Ensure you are able to communicate effectively and in a way that reflects only the highest of standards and professionalism.
- Consistently check messages and confirm reservations daily. Exhaustive knowledge of our reservation system Tock.
- Review and know the floor plan & seating configuration.
- Reporting cover counts/dropped checks/open menu counts every 30 minutes to relevant line supervisors.
- Know how to fulfill take-out orders from start to finish as well as how to process payments.
- Prepare dining room for guests by cleaning and setting tables (when time allows).
- Assist servers with food delivery as needed, using drop lines to entice guests (when time allows).
- Be responsible for the cleanliness of your station and ensure the cleanliness of other stations.
- Act as a resource for guests on events/information/landmarks in the city.
- Be proactive and find new ways to improve systems & efficiency.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: prior experience in a food-serving establishment.
- Self-motivated, organized, and ability to multi-task effectively.
- Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule, days, nights, and weekends.
- Must be punctual and reliable.
- Ability to work varied hours.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with guests and employees.
- Customer service focus and quality orientated.
- Adaptable and flexible.
- High energy level.
