About the Role

Origin Coast is currently seeking a Cultivation Technician. The Cultivation technician assists leadership with the day-to-day maintenance of the cannabis production facility. The candidate must accurately and efficiently complete the day-to-day production and plant maintenance task requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning and Sanitizing Propagation, Vegetative, and Flowering Rooms
• Plant Maintenance
• Follow plant protocols and procedures for propagation, veg, and flowering
• Trellising
• Pruning & Canopy Management
• Waste Removal /Shredding
• Data recording and presenting information to leadership
• Follow Health Canada protocols.
• Help maintain the highest standard of cannabis cultivation.

What You Bring

• Must be 19+ years old
• High school diploma, or equivalent.
• Post Secondary Education is considered an asset.
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Basic Math Skills
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the facility.
• Can work rotating shifts, weekends and holidays if necessary.

Site Conditions & Physical Requirements

• Comfortable with exposure to allergens, chemicals, dust, odours, extreme temperatures, bright lights and a variety of environmental conditions
• Comfortable wearing full personal protective equipment while on the production floor.
• Able to lift, push and pull 35 pounds
• Able to bend, squat or stand for extended periods of time
• Able to use a ladder (up to 12 feet).
