environment, we invite you to join our team We're looking for a committed Programs Manager (PT with

benefits/flexible 25-30hrs per week) willing and able to provide incredible care to our residents who are living

with – and dying from – a terminal illness.

The Programs Manager works with the Director of Services to oversee the day-to-day operations and delivery of

our Psychosocial Services, which include social work, bereavement support, spiritual care, and other

complementary programs. The Programs Manager will be instrumental in growing the special programs,

fostering community partnerships, and ensuring that the ongoing and diverse needs of the community,

residents, and families are met.

The successful candidate will exemplify the vision and values of Lisaard & Innisfree Hospice in all endeavors.

Salary is $40- $44/hr (negotiable related to experience). Please note that this role qualifies for remote work;

maximum hours of remote work to be determined based on needs of our hospice.

About You

Experience in supervising professionals and volunteers; a strong understanding of human resource principles

an asset

Experience developing effective partnerships with community agencies and community groups

Experience in working both independently and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Knowledge of community service case coordination

Valid driver's license, insured vehicle, and reliable transportation required

Project management and/or program development experience an asset

Role Requirements

Professional designation in social work, Membership in good standing with an Ontario Professional

Designation College

Relevant experience in palliative care, with preference given to candidates who have worked in a hospice

environment

Knowledge and understanding of Waterloo Region, its diverse community needs, and the network of

supports and services available

Interacts with residents, family members, staff, visitors and other agencies

Travel between sites is required

Community-based work required within clients' homes, including navigating the unique challenges of

providing care in varied home environments
