Our client, a manufacturing company located in Kitchener/Cambridge area, is looking for a Supply Chain Manager to join their team.

What you will do in this role:

  • Drive and leverage the growth of revenue and technical productivity by actively participating in the design and planning of business strategies.
  • Build and develop relationships with key suppliers and customers while promoting high quality customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in the creation of the ERP system and implementation.
  • Lead business intelligence reporting and tracking of KPI's.
  • Manage vendor relationships and assist in building effective partnerships.
  • Lead continuous improvement to create operational and cost efficiencies.
  • Manage inventory and forecasting to meet sales projections.
  • Ensure successful logistic partnership to distribute product in a timely and effective manner.
  • Participates in the ongoing development, communication and implementation of team concepts, programs, and policies.

What you will bring to the role:

  • Post secondary education or related field an asset
  • 5+ years previous experience in purchasing and supply chain management and food buying.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels in an organization.
  • Proven ability to drive profit process from plan to end of production
  • Experience in supplier relationship management.
  • Demonstrating high proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Supply Chain professional certification required.
  • Mandarin speaking would be an asset.
