An HSEQ Professional at ISN works on the Health and Safety Review and Verification (RAVS) Team to provide occupational safety-related support to new and existing clients. The Specialist will work with the wider ISN team and directly with customers to filter and answer questions on ISNetworld, represent the HSEQ RAVS team in meetings regarding functionality updates to ISNetworld, and participate in various research activities.

Responsibilities

  • Research, develop, and enhance health and safety review protocols as required by legislation and industry best practices
  • Assist and support ISNetworld contractor/supplier clients; meet clients at their locations as needed
  • Review contractor HSEQ documentation and processes, and communicate compliance or gaps in relation to regulatory requirements
  • Perform desktop audits of health and safety programs and/or other HSE documentation
  • Coordinate various review protocol development and implementation initiatives
  • Attend sales meetings with your Business Development teammates to serve as the HSEQ subject matter expert
  • Research, develop and author various resources and reference documents for customers and prospects
  • Participate in industry monitoring, HSE professional organizations and other opportunities to continue personal and professional growth
  • Continually re-evaluate HSEQ offerings and processes to provide superior service to customers
  • Up to 20% travel required, including both domestic and international

Experience Required

  • 4+ years of experience in the HSE field
  • Recognized safety certification preferred
  • Strong communication skills, initiative and drive to move projects forward effectively
  • Bachelors in related field or equivalent relevant work experience

Onsite Requirement:
Employees must be within a commutable distance to Calgary office and required to come into the office 3 days per week and for additional required trainings, events, team activities, and meetings.
