Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling deliveries and pick-ups, assisting with light machinery assembly, operating a forklift, and ensuring the warehouse operates in a safe, organized, and efficient manner. This position requires a valid G driver's license and fluent English communication skills to support both internal operations and customer-facing responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliveries & Pick-Ups: Safely operate company vehicle for local deliveries and pick-ups.
  • Forklift Operation: Safely operate a forklift to move, load, and unload materials and equipment.
  • Assembly of Light Machinery: Follow manuals and instructions to assemble machinery and equipment accurately.
  • Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized warehouse; manage inventory placement and storage.
  • Palletizing & Packaging: Prepare, palletize, and package small products for shipping or storage.
  • Customer Service Support: Respond to customer service issues promptly and professionally.
  • In-Store Assistance: Assist walk-in customers by answering questions, locating products, and providing general support.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth warehouse and store operations.

Requirements

  • Valid G Driver's License (clean driving record).
  • Ability to lift and move moderately heavy items.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken) – mandatory for safety, instructions, and customer interaction.
  • Forklift experience/certification preferred.
  • Mechanical experience with construction equipment and material handling equipment is a major asset and will result in a higher wage.
  • Being bilingual (English/French) is an additional asset and will result in a higher wage.
  • Previous warehouse, delivery, or assembly experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Customer-focused attitude with good problem-solving abilities.
