What You'll Do
- Sort and manage all incoming faxes: Ensure all incoming faxes are promptly sorted and directed to the appropriate departments.
- Process physician referrals: Accurately process and document all physician referrals, ensuring timely and efficient handling.
- Maintain accurate patient charts: Ensuring all patient information is accurate, correct and managed confidentially.
- Allocate referrals to physicians: Efficiently allocate referrals to the appropriate physicians based on their specialties and availability.
Who You Are
We're looking for an experienced and dynamic professional who thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. You'll succeed in this role if you're:
- Qualified & Experienced: High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong Organizational Skills: Ability to manage tasks, time, and resources efficiently.
- Tech-Savvy: You are ready to lead the process of automating and driving efficiency into our referrals function through technology. Experience with EMRs/CHR is essential.
- Healthcare-Savvy: Experience in the healthcare sector is highly desirable.
- A Self-Starting Doer: Communicating effectively, solving problems, and staying actively involved in your team's success.
