Jardeg is recruiting Ironworker Apprentice to to join the Cenovus Refinery Lloydminster, AB project team.

***Preference will be given to those who are local to Lloydminster area. Living Out Allowance and Travel Allowance available to those who qualify.

As an Ironworker your key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Erecting and installing scaffolding, construction cranes, derricks and other hoisting equipment.
  • Assemble rigging (cables, pulleys, hooks) to move heavy equipment and materials. Assemble and erect prefabricated metal structures
  • Check the alignments and join steel parts by bolting or tack welding them with an electric arc process.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Journeyperson Ironworker, preferably in industrial or construction settings.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of ironworker materials, tools, and installation techniques.
  • Strong commitment to safety practices and protocols.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team environment and independently as required.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and project stakeholders.
