Job Type: Contract / Part-time

Compensation: $50–$60 per session (based on experience)

Pinewood Pilates & Movement
is a warm, community-focused boutique studio offering thoughtful, high-quality Pilates and mindful movement. We're looking for a
comprehensively-trained Pilates instructor
(or someone completing their comprehensive program) to join our team.

We offer a calm, supportive environment, small class sizes, and a loyal client base who value intentional movement and genuine connection.

What You'll Do

  • Teach
    private sessions + small group reformer classes
  • Deliver
    hands-on cueing
    and individualized support
  • Work independently in a quiet, welcoming space
  • Build meaningful relationships with clients
  • Contribute to a positive, professional, caring studio culture

What We're Looking For

  • Comprehensive Pilates training (Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, Barrels)
  • (or currently completing certification)
  • 2+ years teaching experience preferred
  • Strong movement observation + hands-on cueing skills
  • Contemporary, functional approach rooted in the classical Pilates principles
  • Warm, friendly, and
    mature
    presence
  • Reliable, responsible, and confident teaching solo
  • Genuinely cares about client progress and experience

Stott Pilates / Merrithew

Bonus Experience

(Not required, but valued)

  • Pre/postnatal training or experience
  • Background in yoga, somatics, dance, or rehab-informed movement
  • Customer service or hospitality experience
    (client care is everything here)
  • Experience with older adults, postpartum clients, or injury rehab
