Role Responsibilities:
- Prepare a wide variety of continental dishes to meet the culinary standards of the establishment.
- Create and develop innovative and seasonal menus that align with the restaurant's vision.
- Oversee kitchen operations and manage all aspects of food preparation.
- Ensure all food is prepared following health and safety regulations.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels of food supplies.
- Assist in training kitchen staff and mentoring junior chefs.
- Collaborate with restaurant management to plan and coordinate special events.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization to adhere to sanitation standards.
- Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction and handle any dietary requirements.
- Conduct regular quality checks on food items before serving.
- Control food costs and manage waste to maintain the kitchen's budget.
- Experiment with new ingredients and techniques to enhance menu offerings.
- Manage food allergies and ensure proper food handling practices are followed.

- Proven experience as a chef in a continental cuisine setting.
- Culinary diploma or equivalent qualifications.
- Strong knowledge of various cooking methods and cuisines.
- Ability to create and implement menus effectively.
- Experience in managing kitchen staff and operations.
- Excellent understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Proficiency in inventory management and cost control.
