Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers.
  • Experience in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java) for data processing, customizing search functionality, and scripting automation tasks.
  • Experience integrating platforms into customer systems using APIs and SDKs.
  • Experience in a cloud solution developer or similar role, with systems design and architecting application integrations.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with Google Cloud (or equivalent services) to build robust and scalable streaming and batch data pipelines (e.g., Dataflow, Workflows, BigQuery).
  • Experience designing/building Agentic-AI systems and applications, with an understanding of core-systems and application-architecture.
  • Experience in search-engine principles (ranking, indexing, tokenization) combined with applied ML-techniques for improving ranking, query understanding and recommendations.
  • Experience in statistical concepts for setting up and interpreting A/B tests, traffic analysis and using relevant KPIs to measure solution success.
  • Excellent organizational and investigative skills, with the ability to influence and work effectively with both technical teams and executive-level stakeholders.

About The Job
As a Technical Solutions Consultant, you will be responsible for the technical relationship of our largest advertising clients or product partners. You will lead cross-functional teams in Developing, Sales and Product Management to leverage emerging technologies for our external clients/partners. From concept design and testing to data analysis and support, you will oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's online advertising platforms or product partnerships.

You will be able to balance business and partner needs with technical constraints, develop innovative, cutting edge solutions and act as a partner and consultant to those you are working with. You will also be able to build tools and automate products, oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's partnerships, as well as develop product strategy and prioritize projects and resources.

In this role, you will work directly with Google Cloud's most tactical customers on projects that transform their business through advanced search and discovery solutions. You will be a trusted advisor, leveraging your deep technical expertise to guide customers in adopting and implementing Vertex AI Search products.

In partnership with Sales, Product, and Developing teams, you will scope and oversee the implementation of priority AI driven search solutions and consolidate lessons learned into a curated knowledge base to support the global scaling of our practice. You will apply your management, expertise, and technical skills to engagements, working with client executives to develop and build solutions onto Google Cloud. Travel approximately 20%, for customer engagements as needed.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $123,000-$176,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Provide subject matter expertise on the Vertex AI Search portfolio (including solutions for Commerce, Media, Healthcare, and general use cases) and advocate these solutions among Google's customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Lead the scoping and technical delivery of complex AI Industry Solution engagements, providing program assurance, removing roadblocks, and ensuring successful customer adoption.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues during customer on-boarding, providing advisory services and support to ensure a smooth integration with Vertex AI Search products.
  • Develop and build robust, scalable solutions for customers, including developing data ingestion and ETL pipelines, building backend integration services, and creating solutions for unique customer use cases.
  • Recommend and document migration paths, integration strategies, and application architectures required to successfully implement complete search solutions using best practices on Google Cloud.
