Join our dynamic team as a Part-Time Seasonal Equipment Operator We are seeking a reliable and skilled individual to assist with various tasks, with a primary focus on garbage truck operation and snow removal during the winter season. This position requires flexibility and the ability to operate a range of equipment, including but not limited to snowplow, backhoe, and garbage truck.

Responsibilities

  • Operate snowplows and other equipment to clear driveways, parking lots, and walkways.
  • Ensure safe and efficient snow removal practices.
  • Operate a variety of equipment, including backhoes, garbage trucks, and other machinery as required.
  • Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure proper functionality.
  • Operate garbage truck as scheduled.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines during all operations.
  • Be available for on-call duty during specified shifts, especially during winter weather conditions.
  • Respond promptly to emergency calls for snow removal services.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience operating snow removal equipment, backhoes, and garbage trucks preferred.
  • Valid driver's license Class 3 with airbrakes with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and be on call for emergency situations.
  • Strong attention to safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that may involve heavy lifting, bending, and prolonged outdoor exposure.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to obtain a criminal background check

Wage: $20.00-$22.00 per hour.
