Our client is a top financial institution with significant North American holdings. They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private client, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking.

Introduction:
Robertson is seeking a skilled Vendor Manager III to join our client in support of an existing vacancy.

Contract Period:
12 Months

Pay Rate:
Starting from $38 per hour

Location:
Toronto, ON

Location Type:
Hybrid

Business Hours:
 Monday – Friday; 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

Job Responsibilities:

  • Organize, influence and manage a portfolio of contracts supporting all aspects of the negotiation of the contract
  • Provide subject matter expertise in the review, negotiation, drafting, implementation and execution of Contracts, primarily IT Contracts
  • Act as an interface between Sourcing, Legal, external vendors and the Business Lines, interfacing at all levels within the organization including Senior Management

Experience & Qualification Requirements:

  • Post Secondary Degree
  • 5 to 7 Years of Vendor Management Experience
  • Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills, in particular in the area of IT Contracts
  • Strong broad-based understanding of IT
  • Ability to achieve business objectives through influencing and effectively working with key stakeholders
  • Highly organized, proactive, self-motivated team player who takes initiative and can work independently
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities with proven time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable and confident communicating at all levels including business partners, Executives and Vendors
  • Demonstrated high proficiency with MS Office suite of products
  • Sourcing coupled with Contract Management Experience
