Serving the Canadian market since 1940, Commonwealth Plywood is one of the largest distributers of decorative wood products in Canada. Commonwealth Plywood is seeking an ambitious, energetic, hardworking Outside Sales Representative for the Eastern Toronto Area. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary. The Outside Sales representative is responsible for prospecting and generating new commercial business as well as performing cold-calls in the field and virtually to generate new sales and develop long-term relationships with potential customers. This candidate should be able to support existing clients and have an ability to conduct product demonstrations. We are looking for entrepreneurial individuals who possess a passion for sales and relationship building.
Key Responsibilities for Outside Sales Representative:
- Call on a mix of new and existing accounts and provide 360 degree customer service to these accounts
- Effectively demonstrate product line and become a brand ambassador for all pf our product lines
- Meet established goals for territory development and sales quotas
- Meet and exceed realistic sales goals while maintaining client satisfaction
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or related field
- 2+ years' experience in cold calling sales with strong track record of success
- Valid Class G Driver's Licence
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience in developing and executing territory sales strategies
- Strong time management skills and self-disciplined
- Self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Compensation includes base salary + incentive package, use of company vehicle and company cellphone, weekly expense account, and group insurance program.
