Our client is seeking an experienced
Fire Protection Project Manager / Estimator
with a strong background in
sprinkler systems
to support estimating, project execution, and client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate estimates and tenders for fire sprinkler projects, including labour, materials, permits, and pricing.
- Source and manage sprinkler projects from bid through completion.
- Review drawings, specifications, and project schedules to determine scope, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Attend pre-bid and job-site meetings as required.
- Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, consultants, and customers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage multiple projects, including schedules, budgets, change orders, and progress reporting.
- Support design-build estimates and provide preliminary system layouts.
- Maintain knowledge of sprinkler technologies, industry standards, and applicable codes.
- Promote compliance with EHS policies on all projects.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in a related field (Fire Protection Engineering Technology an asset).
- Proven experience estimating and managing fire sprinkler system projects.
- Strong understanding of construction practices, blueprint reading, and project management.
- Knowledge of NFPA standards and local building codes.
- Experience with estimating software and Microsoft 365.
- Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
