Role Description

SYFFCO is looking for a
Junior Database & Analytics Assistant
to join our growing data and technology team.

This role is ideal for someone early in their career who's comfortable working with data, eager to learn database management, and passionate about how analytics and automation can shape better business decisions.

You'll work closely with senior engineers and analysts to build, maintain, and optimize databases that support market research, automation, and reporting systems across multiple projects.
Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Computer Science and Software Development
  • Experience with Back-End Web Development and Programming
  • Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Experience in a similar role is a plus

Assist in the design, maintenance, and documentation of company databases.

Perform basic SQL queries and help manage data pipelines.

Support integration of data from multiple sources for analytics and reporting.

Write and maintain simple scripts (Python, JavaScript, or R) for data cleaning and automation.

Work with analytics tools such as
Excel, Power BI, or Tableau
to prepare reports and dashboards.

Test and troubleshoot issues within data systems and ensure data accuracy.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver insights and visualizations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in
    Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems
    , or a related field.
  • 0–2 years of experience in a data, IT, or analytics role (internships welcome).
  • Basic understanding of
    databases (SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
    .
  • Familiarity with at least one programming language (Python, JavaScript, or R).
  • Strong
    Excel
    and data organization skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced consulting and analytics environment.
