Role Description
This full-time Architectural Technologist role is an on-site position located in Edmonton, Alberta. The role involves preparing and developing detailed architectural, construction, and technical drawings. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with the design team to translate concepts into working drawings, ensuring drawings adhere to regulatory standards, and coordinating with construction teams to oversee project progress. The candidate will play an integral role in supporting projects through various stages, from concept to construction documentation and build phases.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Architectural Technology and Technical Drawing.
- Proficiency in creating Working Drawings, Architectural Drawings, and Construction Drawings.
- Knowledge of industry standards, building codes, and regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Advanced proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Sketchup an asset.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Previous experience in hospitality or workplace design projects is an asset.
- Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology or a related field.
