Job Overview:
This job leads the administration and optimization of our Microsoft Azure cloud environment, online assets, and on-premises network infrastructure. This strategic role serves as the primary point of contact for internal teams and external clients for all matters related to cloud systems, network operations, and digital assets, ensuring reliability, security, and performance across the organization's IT landscape.

The role independently steers the administration, enhancement, and strategic direction of our Microsoft Azure cloud environment, online assets, and on-premises network infrastructure. This broad and impactful position operates with significant latitude, acting as the organization's foremost authority and primary liaison for both internal teams and external clients on all aspects of cloud systems, network operations, and digital asset management. The job will ensure the seamless reliability, robust security, and exceptional performance of the entire IT environment, while proactively shaping technology solutions across the organization's digital landscape.

Responsibilities and Duties:
End User Microsoft Services

  • Administer and support Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams.
  • Manage and maintain Active Directory and Azure Active Directory, including identity and access management, RBAC, and security policies.
  • Provide expert-level troubleshooting and support for end-user Microsoft services.

Engineering Microsoft Services

  • Lead the configuration, optimization, and monitoring of Microsoft Azure resources (VMs, storage, virtual networks, security groups).
  • Oversee Windows Server environments and Office 365 integration.
  • Implement backup, disaster recovery, and high availability for Azure workloads.
  • Utilize PowerShell scripting and Infrastructure-as-Code tools (ARM templates, Bicep, Terraform) for automation and deployment.

Dynamics Platform Management

  • Administer and configure Microsoft Dynamics applications, including source configuration and finance system integrations.
  • Maintain and manage licensing connections for Dynamics and related finance systems.
  • Ensure secure and reliable operation of Dynamics platforms in alignment with business needs.

SaaS Platform Administration

  • Oversee and support Freshworks, Atlassian (Jira), Asana, and platforms.
  • Serve as the technical point of contact for third-party vendors and service providers supporting these platforms.
  • Ensure integration, compliance, and operational efficiency across all SaaS platforms.

Network Infrastructure Management

  • Manage on-premises and hybrid network infrastructure (firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs).
  • Maintain LAN/WAN connectivity, internet links, and wireless networks.
  • Implement network monitoring, alerting, and security best practices.

Support, Collaboration & Leadership

  • Act as a senior technical resource and mentor for the IT team.
  • Provide documentation, training, and knowledge transfer to internal stakeholders and customer representatives.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend strategic upgrades or improvements.

Education, Credentials, Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience managing Microsoft Azure cloud environments, enterprise networks, and business platforms. Proven experience managing online assets and security.

Required Skills & Abilities:
Technical Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Azure, Azure AD, virtual networks, and resource management.
  • Strong understanding of DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls, and Windows Server administration.
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting and Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
  • Experience configuring Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Familiarity with platforms like Atlassian (Jira), Freshworks, ServiceNow, or other ticketing solutions.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Clear communication skills for interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to handle customer inquiries professionally, empathetically, and efficiently.

Preferred Certifications

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104).
  • CompTIA Network+ or Cisco CCNA.
  • Security certifications (CompTIA Security+, CISSP, etc.) are an asset.
  • Customer service or ITIL certification is a plus.
