THE ROLE

A hands-on individual contributor building and configuring Salesforce reporting infrastructure to automate financial reporting and enable real-time visibility across the organization.
  • Financial Reporting Configuration (50%)
  • System Customization & Data Management (30%)
  • User Training & Adoption (20%)

THE TASKS

Financial Reporting Configuration

  • Configure Salesforce dashboards to replace manual Excel and PowerPoint workflows
  • Build executive reporting for top-line revenue, net revenue, and client profitability tracking
  • Map existing PowerPoint reports into Salesforce reporting structure
  • Create departmental and client-level financial views with revenue funnel visibility
  • Automate reporting from opportunity stage through invoicing and cash collection
  • Develop real-time visibility into signed versus unsigned deals and pipeline status

System Customization & Data Management

  • Customize Salesforce objects, fields, and workflows to support agency financial structures
  • Implement validation rules and data quality checks for accuracy
  • Configure pass-through cost tracking and media commission calculations

User Training & Adoption

  • Conduct training sessions for finance, operations, and client service teams
  • Create handover documentation for internal team sustainment
  • Drive user adoption through hands-on support and change management

ENGAGEMENT MILESTONES
  • Configure financial reporting dashboards mapping current PowerPoint reports into Salesforce
  • Implement data management processes including field customization and validation rules
  • Complete QuickBooks integration setup for end-to-end financial visibility
  • Establish communication tools integration with Outlook and Teams to capture emails and meeting notes automatically
  • Build data reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy between systems
  • Deliver user training and adoption materials for finance and client service teams
  • Establish real-time reporting capability for revenue tracking across all business lines

THE SKILL SET

  • Proven experience configuring Salesforce reporting in agency or professional services environments
  • Strong understanding of agency financial structures including top-line vs net revenue, pass-through costs, and project billing
  • Advanced proficiency with Salesforce dashboards, custom report types, and data modeling
