Your Role and Impact
In this role, you will be integral to the entire patient journey. You will provide comprehensive radiation oncology services, from initial diagnosis through treatment and follow-up, making a direct impact on patient outcomes and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert clinical consultations, evaluations, and manage the course of radiation therapy for a diverse oncology patient population.
• Develop, approve, and oversee sophisticated, individualized treatment plans using advanced techniques such as IMRT, VMAT, SBRT, and SRS.
• Collaborate closely with a team of medical physicists, dosimetrists, and radiation therapists to ensure the precise and safe delivery of all treatments.
• Lead and supervise patient care throughout the treatment process, including the active management of side effects and supportive care needs.
• Actively participate in and contribute to multidisciplinary tumor boards and case conferences.
• Ensure meticulous and timely documentation within our integrated Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
• Uphold the highest standards of practice through involvement in quality assurance (QA) and quality improvement (QI) programs.
• Opportunities are available for clinical teaching, mentorship, and participation in research or clinical trials for interested candidates.

What You Bring
Qualifications & Requirements:

• Medical Doctor (MD) or equivalent, with a specialist qualification in Radiation Oncology.
• Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC) in Radiation Oncology, or equivalent.
• Licensed, or eligible for licensure, with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO).
• Proven proficiency in modern radiation therapy techniques, including 3D-CRT, IMRT/VMAT, and preferably SBRT/SRS.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• A commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care.

Preferred Assets

• Experience with treatment planning systems (e.g., Eclipse, RayStation) and oncology EMR platforms (e.g., ARIA, MOSAIQ).
• A strong interest in clinical research, academia, or teaching.
