Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Grande Prairie, AB for an Intermediate Structural Engineer. The Structural Engineer will be responsible for performing structural analysis, designing frameworks, conducting calculations, and developing detailed engineering plans utilizing CAD software. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with the construction and design teams to ensure the project's structural integrity, adhering to safety and regulatory standards, and providing innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges.

  • Proficiency in wood and log construction.
  • Proficiency in Structural Engineering principles
  • Strong skills in performing Calculations and Structural Analysis
  • Solid understanding of regulatory codes and safety standards in structural projects
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation or eligibility for registration is a plus
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
