Location: Kamloops

Hours: 40 hours per week (Minimum)

Schedule: Monday to Friday (8-hour shift)

Wage: $29.00 to $52.00 based on relevant education and/or level of experience

Position Summary

IPH is looking for reliable, detail-driven Plumbers with either residential or commercial experience to join our Install team. In this position you will be reporting to the Project Manager and you will be responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining plumbing fixtures in residential and commercial setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install drainage and venting systems using PVC, ABS and cast‑iron piping.
  • Install hydronic heating systems with threaded, copper sweat, copper pro press and Victaulic connections, including in‑slab radiant heating.
  • Run water services for residential and commercial applications in copper and pex.
  • Perform gas fitting and hookup in accordance with applicable codes on boilers, hot water on demands and hot water tanks, including gas venting.
  • Coordinate equipment set‑ups and lifts, using cranes or other rigging methods.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings and 3D models to ensure accurate installation.
  • Residential and commercial plumbing, including all plumbing rough in and fixture installation.
  • Other related duties may be assigned.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Journeyman Plumber
  • 3rd of 4th year apprenticeship credentials.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work in various environments and weather conditions, including residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
