Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pest Control Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and managing pest issues in residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of pest control methods, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently. This position requires the use of hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery to effectively carry out pest control services.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest infestations and potential entry points.
  • Develop and implement effective pest management plans tailored to each client's needs.
  • Apply appropriate pesticides and treatments in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery for various pest control tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records of services performed, including treatments applied and follow-up actions required.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and educating them on pest prevention strategies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, pest control techniques, and safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in pest control or a related field is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
  • Strong sales skills to effectively communicate service options to clients.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery relevant to pest control tasks.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
