Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met, and contribute to a welcoming dining environment. This role offers opportunities for growth within the food service industry and requires a strong focus on customer satisfaction and teamwork.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, including Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support smooth operations
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in accordance with sanitation standards
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Provide guest services that exceed expectations, addressing any concerns promptly
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Basic math skills for handling bills, payments, and change accurately
- Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Kitchen experience or hospitality background is advantageous
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
